As part of its expansion strategy and to further diversifies its services in reaching out to all its customers, The Seychelles Trading Company (STC) has open its newest retail and wholesale store benefiting STC’s local consumers, wholesalers as well as visitors.
The grand opening of STC Grand Anse supermarket and wholesale took place on Saturday 30th January 2016 with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the presence of the CEO for STC, Ms. Veronique Laporte, Minister for Finance, Trade and the Blue Economy Jean Paul Adam, Principal secretary for Investment Mrs. Maryse Berlouis as well as principal secretary for Agriculture and fisheries Michel Nalletamby, Grand Anse District representatives and other high government officials. After the blessing ceremony, the delegation was the first to visit the new facility which also opened its doors to welcome its first customers at 1.30 pm same day after the inaugural ceremony.
The new retail store is a fully fledged supermarket offering to customers a wide range of STC’s products similar to STC supermarket in town whilst the wholesale outlet adjacent to the supermarket sells a range of basic commodities such as rice, milk, juices, frozen meat as well as fruits and vegetables.
The new STC Supermarket and wholesale outlet aims to cater for the needs of this region whilsts STC continues to deliver value and the best services to its customers.
