Good quality construction materials are now available at STC Home Wares and Building Materials Depot, a new retail option for STC customers in the country.
The new facility welcomed its first guests on Friday 26th September 2014 for its official opening ceremony which was held in the presence of high government officials including the Minister for Community Development, Social Affairs and Sports, Mr. Vincent Meriton and the Minister of Land Use and Housing Mr. Christian Lionnet who took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony with the CEO for STC, Ms Veronique Laporte.
Whilst addressing the audience, Ms Laporte thanked everyone who had given their support to the realization of the project and extended an invitation to local business partners and suppliers to work with STC for the benefit of the Seychellois people.
Right after the ceremony, of which the guests got the privilege to tour the new facility, the highly-anticipated outlet started its operations with its first group of customers which had came in numbers to view and purchase the new range of items at the new store.
The full sized show room displays an array of construction goods such as steel, tile, welded mesh, masonite hard board, pine timber and a selection of gardening tools and sanitary wares. In addition to this selected range, STC customers will have the choice to a much wider range of construction goods , new supplies expected to be available as of month end of October 2014.
STC’s latest store which is situated at Bois De Rose Avenue (adjacent to Island Motors Company Limited) will provide customers the choice to a selection of home improvement materials for home decors and various building projects at competitive pricing.
